Brazil’s National Petroleum Agency (ANP) launched the first edition of its startup program, NAVE, with remarkable participation. The initiative is a strong step toward accelerating the energy transition in the country.

Nine energy leaders, Petrogal Brasil, TotalEnergies, CNPC, Shell, ExxonMobil, Equinor, Repsol Sinopec, Petrobras, and CNOOC, are backing the program, each contributing R$ 3.5 million to support innovation in the sector.
For the marine fuel market, especially for AUS40, a critical product for cleaner maritime operations, this movement is highly relevant. The integration of startups into the energy and logistics chain promises advancements in decarbonization, efficiency, and global competitiveness.
Brazil is taking its place as a global sustainability leader by fostering open innovation and supporting scalable, clean technologies.
